Everything on the lists below is a bug that needs to be fixed. This list is maintained by meebo users. The developers make no guarantee of the accuracy and timelines of the updates :)

Font size is set to pixels making it impossible to resize using 'View | Font Size'. That's pretty bad, but it's not as bad as this bad substitute of a bug database. Anyway, at least I could make my point
Setting away message makes user visible if previously invisible
This applies to at least Jabber/GTalk when set as Invisible… Once an away message is set, the user becomes Visible on a previously-Invisible account.
Away message displays HTML code An Away Message will display the HTML code for special characters like these: >
Emoticon bug When typing either <P or >P using meebo, It will display “<(wink-:P emoticon)” or “>(wink-:P emoticon)”. It seems to add a semicolon after the < or > symbol.
Messages seem to arrive ou of order – i was sittng nex to my buddy at java user group and could see what he sent and what i received and indeed the messages were out of order – i have screen shots of both sessions (his and mine) and will send it to you if youd like (naturally im reluctant to post actual chats on a pulic wiki
Typing indicator The status bar in a chat window for MSN will not change to “User is typing” if the user’s status is “Away”. It will remain as “User is Away”.
Sign on The “Sign on” button for the meebo accounts on the main page has an on-click handler set only. If Tab key is used to select the button and the Enter key is pressed, it does not register that as a form submission.
Multiple user conversation (MSN) when someone uses a “multiple user conversation” they can’t exit the chat even when they click x and exit the window. They are forced back when someone sends a new message, unless they sign off.
Cannot Delete Accounts meebo appears to delete AIM account, but the account reappears upon next sign on. The same appears to affect MSN accounts also.
Autoresponse includes emoticon An autoresponse from user “BlahBlah138” includes the “Coolguy w/ shades emoticon” since the autoresponse text is: “[23:30] BlahBlah138: (auto-response from BlahBlah138)”. It’s the BlahBlah138) that makes this happen.
Timestamps in chat logs Timestamps on chat events in the current chat history are right, but if you sign off and on again, the greyed-out chat history will have a timestamp off by many hours (presumably set using the server’s timezone, rather than the user’s - it looks like it’s on PST). If you view the full chat log, all events (even recent ones) are using the same, incorrect timezone.
No sound in IE6 on Windows XP SP2 Tested on multiple networks and various hardware. Problem cannot be duplicated in Firefox on the same machine. Can anyone else duplicate this problem and/or expand the definition?
Size of font In a new conversation, the font size is really large if it was incereased from the default setting in a previous conversation.
Encoding Non-english usernames are seen as ×ëîâåê and so on.
Empty groups When a group is empty (can be caused by signing off an account), the titles of the groups are not removed (it will be shown as “groupName(0)”). The contacts under the group are removed though.
Javascript error This happens when username contains quotes (PHProxy?).
Windows When the screen is filled with has chat windows, new windows appear below the old ones.
Sign on When the sign on fails for a meebo user for one network, say ICQ, there is no way to sign on again without manually entering the details.
Chat Log Loading javascript alert “window” will not go away After I've viewed a chat log, the alert “window” which says “One moment please… Loading (username's) chat log…” remains and will not be closed via the “X” icon in the upper right corner of the alert. I have to refresh the page and re-log in in order to get rid of it. This happens 100% of the time (Firefox 2.0.0.7-Macintosh).
Buddy icon textwrap Seemingly randomly, text will either wrap around the buddy icon or appear under it. Both behaviors are troublesome, as underneath obscures text, and wrapping around causes the line breaks to change as the text is scrolled, making it hard to “keep your place” after scrolling a few lines.
Using Firefox/2.0.0.4 on Mac OS X 10.4.11 (8S2167) the scroll bars have the wrong Z-order relative to the windows. Launching a single Aim window on http://www.meebo.com/ and then dragging the window over the Meebo Blog window will show the scroll bars partially showing through the aim chat window.
when attempting to log into yahoo via the meebo browser logged into meebo account authentication does not pass ” The name or password may be incorrect or you may have signed into the service from somewhere else.” status is recived on accounts where the yahoo password had been changed while meebo is still logged into yahoo account(via old password) then browser is closed. upon re logging into meebo account and attempting to login to yahoo it doesnt allow. removing the yahoo account and adding it with new password does not work. using the meebo login page to log into yahoo then add meebo account does work but not the other way around.
Right now if you want to change your profile, when you select Set Profile it will come up blank, even if you have a profile in place. If the profile is something you change frequently, the best thing to do is add yourself as a buddy on your buddy list. Then hover your mouse over your name on the list and you can move your cursor over to the profile text, then copy and paste it into a word doc or notepad. Then you can save it and edit when you ready to do another update on your profile!
When I change my status from Available to anything else the “What are you doing” text is filled in for me. The problem is when I change my status back to Available the “What are you doing” text is still filled with whatever was associated with the status I just switched away from.
