Check if a web caching server might be causing the problem. Try accessing the widget from a different location.
The widget needs to refresh its connection back to the server. This is particularly useful for when you are chatting using the widget over an unreliable connection or when you hibernate/sleep your machine. If you ever see Network Disruption, hit refresh on your browser to try to reconnect.
You can customize the following: widget title, display name, size and color theme.
You can also custom colors for background, title text, title bar, chat input and chat text.

There is no official way to broadcast messages; however, you can set a custom away message using the status message at the top of your buddy list on your meebo page. The message will display on your widget for your visitors to see.
You can disable your widget so that visitors will see that are you not available and they will no longer be able to send you messages.
You will need to remember to re-enable your widget by clicking on the icon again when you are ready to receive messages.
If you are not logged into meebo, the messages your visitors send you via your meebo me widget will appear the next time you log into your meebo account. These offline messages will expire after 7 days.
If you don't want to receive the offline messages, you can disable your meebo me widget within the meebo me widget link on your meebo page.

Right now we have set the limit to 100 people who can see you online through your widget. In the future, we may make it a preference to help you do some crowd control. If you've got 100 peeps IMing you at any given time, you're pretty popular and might wanna hit that Invisible mode! You can also disable a widget in the meebo pref pane.
